This campaign was created to inspire safe, soulful travel during a time when connection to nature and space felt more vital than ever. I led the full creative direction—developing a visual story that highlighted the freedom and flexibility of van life in Iceland. Happy Campers Project
During the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, travel brands like Happy Campers faced the challenge of staying relevant amid restrictions and uncertainty. With its wide-open landscapes, Iceland was uniquely suited for socially distanced travel—but needed fresh visual storytelling to inspire confidence and adventure.
I developed and executed a lifestyle campaign focused on remote work, family travel, and intentional living. Through photojournalistic imagery, I captured daily life inside the camper—cooking, working, exploring—framed by Iceland’s dramatic scenery. The visuals highlighted freedom, connection, and safe exploration in a time of isolation.

Project Recap
The final content delivered an authentic, emotionally resonant view of camper van life in Iceland—positioning Happy Campers as a brand rooted in modern, mindful travel. The imagery invited audiences into a world of freedom and connection at a time when escapism and grounded experiences mattered most.
