Home Renovation: A 1922 Craftsman Revival
This renovation project reimagined a 1922 Craftsman home from the ground up—preserving its historic charm while infusing it with bold, modern character. I led the entire process from concept to completion, creating a cohesive design vision that balanced color, texture, and function across every room.
The work included:
- Full Interior & Exterior Remodel: New flooring, roof replacement, and exterior paint design.
- Kitchen & Bathroom Renovation: Space planning, fixture selection, and contractor management.
- Artistic Detailing: Hand-painted mural, custom floor tile patterns, and curated color palettes.
- Material & Finish Design: Selection of surfaces, hardware, and textiles to harmonize vintage features with modern updates.
- Project Management: Oversaw contractors, timelines, and budgets to ensure quality craftsmanship and cohesion.
- Creative Direction: Developed moodboards, color studies, and a full design board to guide visual consistency throughout the space.
Chestnut House Project
This home became a living canvas for my creative process—a blend of heritage and imagination. It reflects my love for color, storytelling through interiors, and the artistry of transforming spaces into places that feel deeply personal and alive.
Project Recap
This renovation was more than a home project—it was a creative transformation. Every surface became a canvas for experimentation, from color blocking and texture layering to hand-painted details that brought the spirit of the house back to life. What began as a weathered 1920s structure evolved into a vibrant, lived-in work of art filled with warmth, story, and soul.
Through this process, I deepened my understanding of spaces—how color, material, and light can shape emotion and experience. The finished home stands as a reflection of both craftsmanship and intuition, a place where history and imagination coexist in harmony.
